Consignment policy
Terms for listing and selling consigned pieces with VYRA Edition. Read the full policy below.
1. Nature of the service
VYRA Edition operates as an intermediary for the sale of luxury clothing and accessories under a consignment model. Until the sale is completed, the item remains under the custody of VYRA Edition (V.E.), with reasonable care in storage and display. Title to the item remains with the party who placed it on consignment until the sale is finalized.
2. Acceptance conditions
Items must be authentic, in excellent condition, and meet V.E. quality standards. V.E. reserves the right to accept or reject any item.
3. Sale price
The sale price will be agreed between V.E. and the party who consigned the item, taking into account brand, condition, and market demand.
4. Consignment period
The minimum consignment period is three (3) months from the date V.E. receives the item.
At the end of this period, the party who consigned the item may:
- Retrieve the item;
- Extend the consignment for an additional three (3) months; or
- Reduce the sale price.
5. Sale and notification
Once the item is sold and payment is received, V.E. will charge a 40% commission on the retail price (the published sale price) for commercial management services.
6. Payment to the party who consigned
Payment to the party who consigned the item will be made during the first half of the month following the sale.
7. Taxes (sales tax — Texas)
V.E. acts as the retailer to the end customer and is responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting applicable Texas sales tax. Sales tax is calculated on the total sale price of the item. The party who consigned the item is not responsible for collecting or remitting that tax. For out-of-state or international sales, tax treatment will depend on the applicable jurisdiction.
8. Responsibility for the items
V.E. will take reasonable care of consigned items but is not liable for damage resulting from normal handling or circumstances beyond V.E.’s control. In the event of damage, theft, or loss, V.E. will treat the item as sold and will proceed with payment at the price previously agreed and approved by the party who consigned it, deducting the agreed commission. Payment will be made in accordance with the payment schedule established by V.E.
9. Item withdrawal
Items may be retrieved only at the end of the consignment period or as otherwise agreed in advance with V.E.
10. Authenticity of the items
The party who consigned the item warrants that all items are authentic and that they have lawful title to them. V.E. reserves the right to verify authenticity.
If an item is found to be counterfeit or cannot be verified:
- It will be removed immediately;
- It will not be offered for sale; and
- The party who consigned the item assumes full legal and financial responsibility.
11. Acceptance of terms
Submitting items to V.E. constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
V.E. maintains a zero-tolerance policy for non-authentic items, ensuring trust, transparency, and excellence in every transaction.
